Privacy statement

DT Advisory is a sole proprietorship run by Daniël Titus, based in Amsterdam and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42039812. Below is what data I process, why it happens and what you can do about it.

What data I process

Only what you give me yourself, plus what arises from your visit to this site.

• Your name, email address and phone number when you get in touch or book a conversation
• What you write in that message, or what you share during a conversation
• Data about your visit to this site, but only if you consent to it

Why I process it

I use your contact details to reply, arrange an appointment and carry out and invoice any engagement. I use the visit data to see which articles get read and how people find the site.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics. That only happens after you click Accept in the notice at the bottom. If you click Decline, or do nothing, no cookie is placed at all and your visit is not measured.

Your choice is stored locally in your own browser so the notice does not reappear every time. You can reverse it at any point by clearing this site’s storage in your browser.

IP anonymisation is switched on in Google Analytics.

Other parties

I use Calendly for scheduling conversations. If you click the button to pick a time, you leave this site and Calendly’s terms apply. What you enter there reaches me through a confirmation email.

This site runs on Netlify. The fonts come from Google Fonts. My books are sold through Gumroad, which handles payment and VAT.

How long I keep things

I keep messages for as long as I need them to answer your question, and no more than two years after that. Anything relating to an engagement is kept for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires.

Who I share it with

I do not sell your data and do not pass it on, except where it is needed to carry out an engagement or where the law requires it. The former means my accountant or the parties named above.

What you can ask for

You may request what data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent. Send a message to danieltitus27@gmail.com and I will reply within four weeks.

If you disagree with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Security

This site runs over a secure connection. I take reasonable measures to protect your data. If you notice anything that falls short, please let me know.
