Who I am
I'm Daniël: consultant and writer. I help organisations with questions around growth, organisation and communication. My master in Policy, Communication & Organisation at VU Amsterdam taught me how organisations function and where they get stuck.
Interviewing, digging deeper and reading people isn't a random skill: I studied journalism. I now use it not only to write an article, but to understand an organisation: gathering information, finding patterns, exposing the real problem.
I then spent more than four years at FUUSE, a fast-growing startup: first as a recruiter, later as recruitment manager. I built a client base, led a team, and worked daily on strategy, stakeholder management and business development.
Interview, gather information, find patterns, understand the problem, spar strategically, shape a solution, execute, and where useful, write the story around it. With one client the emphasis is on organisation and operations, with another on research and content. Both come from the same way of working.
